The Kings County Library is committed to expanding literacy by providing resources to motivate our communities to read, embrace literacy, and use the library. In 2018 - 2019, the Kings County Library:

- 221,148 books, magazines, newspapers, CD’s, audiobooks, ebooks, and DVD’s.
- 26,912 patrons have library cards
- 209,828 checked–out library materials
- 5,759 patrons attended library programs
- 32,558 patrons used our public computers
In 2019 - 2020, the Kings County Library:
- 96,200 visited the library
- 284,282 books, magazines, newspapers, CD’s, audiobooks, ebooks, and DVD’s.
- 24,250 patrons have library cards
- 151,589 checked–out library materials
- 5,819 patrons attended library programs
- 21,152 patrons used our public computers
