Joan Alexander will talk about her experiences working at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios in the 1940s. Pakistani travel writer, Faryad Ali Akhtar will read excerpts from his published article about Hanford. This event will take place in the Hanford Library Meeting Room on Saturday, September 24 from 3pm-4pm and is free to attend.
Carole Firstman, writing instructor at College of the Sequoias and California State University, Fresno, will discuss her book "Origins of the Universe and What It All Means: A Memoir." Author Hans Berger will talk about his book "A Bridge to Cross-The True Story of One Family’s Flight from the Nazis." This event will take place in the Hanford Library Meeting Room on Saturday, September 17 from 3pm-4pm, is free to attend.
Author Isabella O’Brien along with illustrators Tracy Polkownikow and Hallie Lauritzen will talk about their children’s book, Isabella’s Garden. Jesalyn Mae Harper photographer, model, and martial artist will discuss her urban fantasy novel Fabled Desires.
