Dr. Salo Stanley will talk about healing with sound therapy. Sound therapy puts us in a relaxed mood and helps us to regain that sense of joy and creativity we had when we were children. Dr. Stanley will use crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, and a native American flute to introduce the audience to sound therapy and how it feels.
Join us at 12:30pm in the Hanford Library's Children Room for Saturday Story Time!
One World Rhythm creates an interactive, in-the-moment music experience by placing a drum, percussion, or melodic instrument into the hands of every participant, then guiding them through an adventure to find their own rhythm and make music together.
CelloJoe is the world’s only beatboxing, long distance bicycling, looping cellist, who has created his own unique genre: Classical Hip Hop. CelloJoe records live on stage with a loop pedal and produces intricate tapestries of harmony, melody, and rhythm. His beatboxing (vocal percussion) and funky cello grooves form a rich soundscape showcasing his talents. He has toured the world sharing music on a bicycle packed with his cello.
