The Kings County Library has a collection of local historical materials available for research. There are approximately 800 volumes in the circulating California Collection, and a comparable number of reference only titles. The circulating collection consists primarily of general histories of cities and counties throughout California. The reference materials are more specific to Kings County, including microfilm of census records and local newspapers, printed histories of Kings and Tulare counties, environmental impact reports relating to local projects, and high school yearbooks.
