One World Rhythm creates an interactive, in-the-moment music experience by placing a drum, percussion, or melodic instrument into the hands of every participant, then guiding them through an adventure to find their own rhythm and make music together.
Travis Brooks, local musician from the band Saltwater, formerly of Doc’s Holiday, will be facilitating a music workshop just for teens. Teens will have the opportunity to build their very own cigar box guitar and take it home.
Travis will share the remarkable history of this musical instrument, as well as teach participants to play a few bars to start them on their musical journey. No experience necessary, but this workshop has a limited number of openings, please register in advance.
CelloJoe is the world’s only beatboxing, long distance bicycling, looping cellist, who has created his own unique genre: Classical Hip Hop.
